Birds are Singing (Spring is coming)

Early this mornings I am hearing the birds chirping. I always hear this when its getting close to spring and warmer weather on the way.

The male birds are singing. For many birds to start singing their territorial/courting songs, day length has to increase substantially as well as other environmental clues.

Just wanted to let every one know....The birds know Spring is coming. Feel better... it will get warmer. I always hear this when its getting close to spring and warmer weather on the way. I always thank to God for this wonderful weather.

Solaris at 13 months

She's our treasure and precious

She loves to tie her shoes. She's trying hard. I know she can do it.

She loves to crawl and touch the grass like a little Curious George..

KiddieLand, Melrose Park

We love this place. I love that you pay one price to get in and can ride all the rides over and over. My daughter was 3 yrs. & 4 mos. old this past summer when we went there, and she keeps bringing it up. She met Dora The explorer. She loved the place and didn't want to leave. I loved it because it was cheesy, old-school carnival feeling. It's small enough to feel like you have a handle on the place, but large enough to not be boring. On weekdays in the summer it's never been packed. The rides are perfect for the 10 and under set. The park is clean. Even the bathrooms - clean. Free soda pop! The food is reasonably priced. Nowhere near Great America prices. There are loads of rides for smallish kids - say 2 - 5 and there is plenty to do for the bigger kids. Jewel usually has coupons at the beginning of the season for $3 or so off admission. This place gets 5 stars for nostalgia, fun & value.

Lambs Farm

This place is great for a fun afternoon with some tots. Lambs farm is a non-profit dedicated to developmentally disabled individuals. They provide employment and homes to people that society tends to shun.

There are several businesses at the Lamb's farm compound: thrifty store, restaurant, pet store, bakery, gift shop and petting zoo/mini amusement park. You can find this place @ Rockland Road, Libertyville, IL

The "rides" are all very simple: bounce castle, train, mini-carousel. There is also a mini-golf course where Solaris loves to play.

My Friends Tigger and Pooh Theme Song and Lyrics

We love tiger & pooh. My daughter can’t get enough of it. We record it and play it again & again. We love the song so much and we sing it every time we play or just sit around the corner . We are so happy singing this song.

My Friends Tigger and Pooh Theme Song
My Friends Tigger and Pooh
We’re always there for each other
You’ll see just how fun it can be
With so much in the world to discover

And if I need help on the way
Buster might save the day
Or Piglet, Lumpy or Roo
Eeyore has a paw to lend
Rabbit has an ear to bend
Now all we’re missing is you…

Hooray it’s a honey-ful day
So let’s laugh and let’s play here together
With My Friends Tigger and Pooh
My Friends Tigger and Pooh

A Daughter is a Wonderful Blessings

I took this picture in our living room two days ago and I really loved this picture.
Solaris asked me to take them a pictures; while her papa holds her. And here's the result. She's a big girl now. And I wanted to make a poems of how blessed we are to have her in our lives.

A daughter is a wonderful blessing
A treasure from above,
She’s laughter, warmth and special charm,
She’s thoughtfulness and love..

A daughter brings a special joy,
That comes from deep inside.
And as she grows to adulthood,
She fills your heart with pride.

With every year that passes,
She’s more special than before.
Through every stage, though every age,
You love her even more.

No words can describe the warm memories,
The pride and gratitude, too.
That comes form having a daughter,
To love and cherish……. just like you!

Trip to Hawaii

“Hawaii is a unique state. It is a small state. It is a state that it's by itself. It is different from the other 49 states. Well, all states are different, but this one has a particularly unique situation.”

Waikiki Hawaii

We went to Hawaii on December 19, 2004 for a one week vacation. We spent Christmas in Honolulu, which is the capital and most popular of the islands. We went there to celebrate our second honeymoon. We were supposed to go after our wedding, but my husband couldn't take time off from work. Anyway, we had a lot of fun. We had an activity for everyday to enjoy and explore the whole island of Hawaii.

The first day of our trip we went to Pearl Harbor to visit the memorial constructed by Elvis Presley. We saw all the names engraved of all the Americans who died during the attack of the Japanese in WW II. I felt goose bumps when I saw the battleship underwater. It was unbelievable but it truly happened. Then in the afternoon we visited the Battleship Missouri where Japan surrender their troops; my husband showed his muscles in some of the pictures we took. After the first day I got really tired and felt dizzy. Guess what? I was five months pregnant with our first baby.

The second day we rode the submarine to explore the underworld of Hawaii but it was raining that time. I never got scared because I just wanted to experience how it felt to go under the sea.
On the 3rd day we rode the bus for a tour of the whole island. We passed by the Dole company and saw mountainous volcanoes including the North Shore. We also visited the Polynesian Center to watch different performances by native tribes. We also visited the Hawaii temple of Latter Day Saints. It was a beautiful place. I met a lot of missionary sisters. We took a lot pictures but I can’t post all of them here. Sorry.
On the 4th day we went to ride a boat for another trip to watch the whales and dolphins. Well, we only saw the dolphins but there was no whale. We were very disappointed because everyone in the boat was vomiting. Never ride the boat to watch dolphins in Hawaii! You won’t enjoy this experience because you'll only see people vomit all around you with sea sickness. That was the most disgusting thing I ever saw. Plus, the tourist campaigns never say how badly everyone will be affected by sea sickness on these kinds of trips.
On the 5th day we went to Hanauma Bay. The beach is beautiful and is the best beach I have ever seen. There are a lot of different fish and different people from around the world. It looked so nice that people were smiling and happy to be in that place. That’s what they called a real paradise. We had a lot of fun! fun! fun!
